Christina Yee is a Boston-based watercolor artist whose work explores memory, identity, and the stories that shape our lives.

Inspired by family experiences, nature, and everyday moments, her paintings invite viewers to pause and reconnect with memories that feel both personal and universal. Whether capturing a quiet morning on Cape Cod, the excitement of childhood discovery, or the emotional journey of being an artist, Christina's work celebrates the beauty found in ordinary moments.

Her ongoing series, Cape Cod Memories, reflects on the simple experiences that define summer, such as, searching for shells, flying kites, collecting treasures, and creating lasting family memories. Through these paintings, she explores themes of nostalgia, connection, and the shared experiences that unite us.

In her Portrait of an Artist series, Christina turns inward, examining the creative process itself. Using symbolism, mixed media, and realism, the series explores self-discovery, resilience, uncertainty, and the pursuit of artistic growth.

A self-taught artist and mother of two, Christina believes creativity has the power to connect people, preserve memories, and inspire reflection. Through watercolor, she strives to create artwork that tells meaningful stories and encourages viewers to find beauty in their own journeys.

When she's not in the studio, you'll find her exploring New England, tending to her growing collection of plants, experimenting with new art supplies, or spending time with family.
