Cape Cod Memories: A New Summer Collection Full of Blue Skies and Warm Sands
There is just something truly magical about Cape Cod in the summer for me. The quiet dunes, weathered fences, ocean breezes, and the boats lazily swaying in the harbor—each moment offers a little bit of beauty, calm, and nostalgia for me.
I’ve collected these moments through photos taken during family trips over the years and now, I’m excited to be turning those memories into a new watercolor collection: Cape Cod Memories.
Each piece in this series reflects the peace and joy that I find in my times at the Cape. And my hope is that these paintings will connect with anyone who has ever felt at home by the water too.
Some of these original works will be submitted to upcoming exhibits, but I'm also making art prints available through my website soon—perfect for anyone who wants to bring a little bit of that Cape Cod calm into their space.
*** Stay tuned—I'll be sharing print release details and behind-the-scenes looks at the collection soon! ***
And a quick look back...
Last month’s James King Bonnar Exhibit Reception was so exciting for me to be a part of. It was the Newton Art Association’s largest exhibit to date, honoring the legacy of its founder with a room full of talented artists, thoughtful conversation, and live music from the trio, Detour Ahead.
A big thank you to everyone who came out to support us! And if you're still thinking about a piece that caught your eye—there’s a chance it might still be available. 😉
