Just found Mable Tan's Awesome Prompt Calendar for Surface Pattern Designers

This month, I am going to be sketching some Halloween prompts to complete the month long art challenge by Mable Tan, an artist based in Australia. She advises to start putting together Halloween prompts now if we want to have them ready to pitch to companies by April and/or ready to put up in POD sites by May/or June. 

These sketches will be completed by pencil and paper, and also digitally if I have time. I plan to start with a daily sketch or two and see how it flows from there. I will be posting the pictures on this page along with the sketches before adding in color to them.  I plan to draw every day for the duration of the challenge and keep things nice and simple. We'll see how it flows but I am aiming to finish a picture everyday.  If this is successful then I will pick the ones that I like best and make them into more cohesive illustrations and patterns in March.  You can subscribe via email to keep up to date with any new ones!
